MM challenge: invention in the 18th century
Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit, born in Danzig 1686 and died in The Hague 1736 was the inventor of the MERCURY-IN-GLASS-THERMOMETER (in 1724).
He lived most of his life in Holland and was a notable representative in the golden age of Dutch science and technology. Fahrenheit was a physicist and and inventor.
Now during covid we are being tested for a high temperature before we enter a medical building, airport etc. and for check up on penguins.
