Day 13 Level 3 Lockdown
We left it until this afternoon to go out for our walk today, as this morning was wet and miserable. We decided to be practical and wear our waterproof jackets, as possible thunderstorms and hail were forecast. However, it was so warm the jackets soon came off and we managed our walk without the slightest hint of rain.
Today’s blip is a sneaky photo through the front gate of an interesting Art Deco-style house, which seems to be having its paintwork repaired. The path wends Its way through a tangled web of a garden to the front door. It has a mysterious, faded elegance about it. We’d love to see inside the house itself.
There were 29 new community cases today. The Prime Minister outlined three steps for Auckland to move out of lockdown, each taking at least a week. So, Auckland will remain in Level 3, but with restrictions eased a little at each step, for a few more weeks yet. I feel so sorry for all the business affected by this long, long lockdown.
