Oh, What Big Feet You Have!

I have seen other Goldfinches in the past with these strange big feet! I wonder if it is a birth defect,disease or just the way they are. But the sparkle in the eye is what I really like in this shot.

It was a lovely day so I spent some time in the garden; I couldn't do a lot of things that need to be done because my hip was really hurting. I am grateful for what I was able to do, there were several things I really wanted to finish. 

Little Miss came over about dinnertime and then our daughter arrived later. They were happy to see each other, we love having them here; they are both so good for us. 

I hope you have someone who is "good for you"....someone you feel safe with and receive unconditionally love.
