Nearly at the End

A surprise as the clock ticked over to midnight - Annie had driven over to meet us at the last checkpoint of the day yesterday. It was a big surprise to see her!

After successfully driving through the night for the second consecutive night, this morning we arrived in Land’s End for breakfast. We departed and headed for a number of check points including Bude, Badgers Holt (Dartmoor) and Haynes Motor Museum .By 5.30pm we were on the M25 and we made the finish at Knebworth just after 6.15pm. Annie was there at the end to marshal us back in again with a smile.

We shared a great meal with friends from the event this evening, the end of a brilliant weekend. Many thanks to my brilliant co-drivers Simon and Sarah.
