Stuck On

It does rather look like they are sticking a laminate layer to these flats to give them that authentic Built-In-1900 look. Or at least, that''s one way to look at it. I was taken by the shadows on the brickwork. And I mean "taken" as in "I quite like them" and not "abducted" because that would be just silly.

But if anyone wants to write the Dr Who series "Abducted By Shadows" I'd be happy with a wee "thanks to auslaender" bit in the credits.

A rubbish day today. Started badly and kept at that sort of level for the rest of the day. Until I started walking home. The fact that I was walking home was a good thing. As was the sunshine. Ok it was 4°C but when you're walking quite fast and wearing a coat with a fleece inner, one doesn't feel the cold. And I heartily love walking, my 45 minutes stomping the bad bits out of the day. Very therapeutic.

*Germangled belongs to jinglyjan (as far as I know) and is a very good word indeed.
