Enjoying being out

We have been looking after Kanji, our eldest daughter's dog, this weekend whilst she and her partner are away at a friend's 40th birthday celebrations. This has meant imposing a strict internal segregation system to ensure that Kanji and our cat, Rocky, don't meet. This scheme was not helped by the almost constant rain yesterday but the sun shone today and my middle daughter and I took Kanji for a walk at St John's Lye. The main picture shows Kanji hanging on to his favourite throwing toy. As the second picture shows, we also took him along the canal towpath.
