Stamps ......

Dry with only the odd shower today.
Once I'd been round and fed the cattle ( after getting a coat and wooly hat on) spent most of the day sorting through a lot of the boxes of stuff that came out the office last December when they came to re slate the roof and re plaster the ceiling. Said boxes have been sitting in a pile in the living room window alcove ever since. Mrs F is starting to get a wee bit ratty about the mess. Don't know how it will all fit back in as it seems to have multiplied since it came out.
Came across a big envelope of stamps that came out my grandpa's office when he died nearly 30 years ago. Sorted through them and laid this wee historical display out ranging from 1939 ish to mid 1980s. a lot of them were off receipts as in days gone by you had to stick a stamp to a receipted invoice. They show 2 different kings and the queen. I wonder if stamps will become a thing of the past soon as emails seem to have replaced the ability to actually write a letter to someone. Will writing ,not typing soon become a lost art ?
