Berries

Family weekends are always wonderful. Last week we spent time with Simon and Lloyd, this weekend we are blessed to have Daniel and Solveig with us. Of course, it’s extra special when we can all be together, but these weekends come a close second. 

Today, it’s our usual Bucks Fizz breakfast followed by a walk up the Nant y Glyn valley, the rain showers generally being kind to us and holding off. The dark skies and alternating sunshine make for beautiful scenes and even a rainbow or two. 

We’ve already had a couple of successful sessions of blackberry foraging, unlike Daniel and Solveig, so today they have their chance to gather nature’s lushness. G helps, while I stay behind the camera gathering something else entirely (in extras) 

All too soon, the weekend is over. They are gone, back to their lovely home on the Wirral. We, meanwhile are left with memories -and, inevitably, photos! 


Oh, and I’m afraid I completely forgot to ask Solveig to unwrap her purchases from yesterday!
