Slumber Party

Saturday's blip, backblipped on Sunday 

Becky got us matching pajamas for our party.  We invited PD and Piper for snacks and drinks which was fortunate because I couldn't manage a selfie that showed our PJs.  I thought they were silly enough for Silly Saturday, celebrated monthly in honor of Admirer.  Thanks to Energia for hosting this month!

Darrin is gone antelope hunting this weekend so Becky had the slumber party idea.  She made an amazing charcuterie board in addition to spinach and brie dip, garlic gnocchi and pigs in blankets and several adult beverages were consumed.  With PD we watched Jungle Cruise, which they Iiked but I really didn't. When he left, we watched Oklahoma and sang along with all the songs. :-)

Then the four of us went up to bed.  The other two were Fang and Thor who cuddled in bed with us until we all fell asleep.  Sometime during the night they went to their beds on the floor - thank goodness because they take up a lot of room!  This morning (Sunday) they were so happy to find me in the bed and I got tons of licks and nuzzles.  We stayed in bed and played with them until the coffee craving overtook us.

Next time we're going to have PD make us breakfast and Becky can eat with us when she takes me home.  We didn't think of that until it was too late.

I am grateful for a really fun night with my sweet daughter!  Darrin has another hunting trip at the end of the month and we're planning to do it again! :-)) 

Edit:  I used to be about an inch taller than Becky.....I'm not standing up straight in the photo, but I'm definitely shrinking!  I wish it was around the middle! ;-)
