Peek a boo toadstool

Went to the woods today, first time in while and took the dog on a long walk. Spotted lots of different kinds of mushrooms and finally saw this bright specimen part hidden.

In other news I had an enjoyable catch up in a local café this morning with another French enthusiast. We’d both seen a local ad for a language exchange café and signed up. F’s french was better than mine but I managed ok and before we knew it almost 2 hours had passed. Vive le français!
