Roadmap Out Of Lockdown Step 4 - Day 77

The first homegrown conker of the year!

Love the way conkers are so shiny when they first drop. Placed this one at the base of the tree this morning, by the afternoon it had disappeared; probably collected by our amnesiac squirrel, so it won’t be long before we have yet another mini Horse Chestnut tree growing in the garden! (My iPad doesn’t like the word “conker”; first it autocorrected the word to cocker, then cooler, then cooker, then conked!)

A sunny start to the day. Managed to spend an hour tidying in the garden before the unforecast rain arrived. Showers on and off all day so a quiet day for me, still taking things slowly.
