The BBC weather app said full sunshine for 5pm, but as we came in from playing in the garden the sky darkened and it started raining, which resulted in this beautiful and vivid rainbow.
The white eyesore building in the background is the 41 metre high La Doria warehouse that distributes Italian food stuffs.   We didn't want such a monstrosity in our village but the local councils thought otherwise and approved the planning application.   It's dubbed the 'sugar cube' by the locals as it stands on the former Sugar Beet factory.  I'm fortunate that I can only see a small piece of it from the garden, unlike some of my neighbours.
