Dead Good Scots

I went for a swim at 9 while Laurence still slept. Afterwards I popped along to the allotment and bumped into Barbara and Julia. They invited me for dinner on Tuesday after yoga :-)
Later L & I picked up Mum & we drove to Penpont to meet my sister Jane and her husband Hugh in the cafe. My niece Jasmine has a weekend job there waitressing. We stopped off at their house afterwards.
Hugh kindly set up this beautiful art instillation by Hugh Bryden ‘ Good Dead Scots’ . Each headstone has a poem about an dead unsung hero of Scotland , written by 35 Scottish poets , including Hugh McMillan ( my brother in law) who edited and collaborated on the book of poetry of the same name.
