McLennan Arch

I'm reading an excellent book just now called The Hanging Shed by Gordon Ferris. Its set in Glasgow in 1946.

For today's Blip I decided to create my own version of the front cover. That involved not only taking the picture but also the monochrome conversion and the rough edge/border, not to mention the silhouette figure. The figure in the book is wearing a 1940s coat and soft hat, but I couldn't find anyone dressed like that today so had to compromise a bit. I've also got the arch a bit more straight but thats what I wanted.

My next book has a dead body covered in blood on the cover but I don't think I'll bother trying to recreate that one.
