Wannie Line

A lovely walk along the Wannie Line, the weather was good to us until the afternoon when the wind was quite chilly.
The Wannie Line is the old Wansbeck railway line , a single track that used to run from Morpeth to Reedsmouth in Northumberland. We walked from Scots gap and followed the track towards Rothbury, the walked through some woods and a couple of fields before re joining the Wannie line back to Scots gap.
