A Quiet Saturday

Our favourite local Chinese restaurant was holding a special dinner last night to announce the winners of their art competition. I'm not sure how it all works, but I think anyone can submit a drawing or painting, they put it on their wall and I imagine customers vote for their favourites.  We had our dinner on their terrace, but it was nice to see the activity and the female owner was dressed very elegantly in something long, blue and sparkly. 

The rest of the day was at home, catching up on housework, so our first floor and balcony are now spick and spam. I also re-aquainted myself with the object in the extra. I was glad of the labelling to help me remember what it was! Hardly any of our clothes need ironing, but there was a little pile of things that couldn't just be folded or hung up.  Podcasts always help with chores. Today I listened to some episodes of The Moth and BBC Women's Hour.
