Cornus Contraversa

Doing well down beyond the rose garden.
Extremely wet from a rain band which stretched on the East side from Santander / Paris / Amsterdam then as far as the Highlands in Scotland covering most of the UK / France to the West. It cleared us here in the SW Scotland by lunchtime and we saw some afternoon sunshine.
Finally managed to remove the bedroom shutters with its very old rusted screws.
Supper of chicken with leeks cheese sauce and a large home made potato cake.
