Too Cold for them both

This morning I went for a walk with Jonty but it was too cold even for him. We got to the park, he did what dogs do in the park, and after we'd deposited it in the bin we normally go across the road and along a footpath towards Barnwood Arboretum.
This morning we got to the road and Jonty did a quick right turn heading in the direction of home. I called him but he just stopped and looked at me. He obviously did not want to go on so I told him it was ok and we headed for home.
He is looking forward to warmer weather as much as the rest of us.

On the other hand, to demonstrate the difference between genteel dogs and mad dogs, a couple of days ago there was a mad Labrador jumping around including running through a large freezing puddle!
