Cistus

What a wet day it has been.  I took this shot of a Cistus flower by opening the window, I wasn't going to go out in the rain.  The rain did eventually ease off later in the afternoon when my husband and I went round to a friends house to view one of her videos.  Our daughter, son in law and grandson all headed off to the soft play area.  Not surprisingly this was very full but it didn't stop our grandson who ran around dodging the other children and various soft play balls etc that were being thrown around.  He had a good time and didn't appear too phased by the noise levels and numbers of older children around.

Later in the evening we all spoke to our son who seems to be enjoying his time in Birmingham and meeting up with old friends.
