THE family at THE tree

We started the day with a lovely croissants and strawberry breakfast, courtesy of Mom and Asha. Asha had a lot of the day at her friend's laser birthday party - a bit like paint balling with lasers set in the woods! Mitch went off and did his own thing, meaning we 5 could squeeze into our car and go to The Tree. After a couple of hours we headed home for lunch. As soon as we folded up our chairs, a group came running dragging their deckchairs - apparently it's 'their' tree too - we had quite a laugh together about it. Danny suggested we create a schedule to have shared custody.
This evening Mom, Asha and I went out for a potter. We saw one of our homeless friends who gave mom a big hug and squeeze! He's in the process of trying to get documentation - starting with a birth certificate. A bureaucratic nightmare.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) A lovely breakfast time all together, and Mitch fitting into everything so well.
2) Mom and Dad enjoying the tree - though poor old Dad's not been feeling great.
3) Everyone being so appreciative of the cooking and food!
