Saturday Blip

Sorry to be boring but the roof saga continues, the Boys came out to make a start, but the weather was against them. So fingers crossed for Monday.

So a message from Sue meant I grabbed a camera, spare batteries and a waterproof, picked her up in the car on route off for Ilfracombe first to buy crab sarnies for lunch. Onward to Exmoor. It was chucking it down with rain, and we pulled in to have our sandwiches, which were delicious. Have seen the wonderful blip of Sue's of the bus. Most of the cars moved out to miss it, but I manages to grab this shot. We must be mad or silly to be out in this weather.

The rain eased and came to a stop as we reached Porlock Weir, and it was nice to have a stroll.  And even better to have tea, with  some delicious walnut sponge cake, from the harbour cafe.
