G&T Welcome

After a long drive down through Spain, we finally crossed the border into Portugal and straight into Mourão, where Daveen welcomed us with a pretty pink Gin and Tonic while Mike helped David get the Duke set up.
I’m really enjoying the peace and quiet round here! Sat on their step for a while listening to the lovely sound of sheep bells and peaceful animal noises in the background.
We went for a walk to the lake to see a beautiful sunset. I can see it’s going to be difficult to choose just one blip!
Soon we are going to partake of a light supper of Mike’s freshly baked bread and “things”. After all that driving I am looking forward to a nice rest for a few days!
