Hoop Dreams

He's just had his hair cut "Sergio Ramos" style - known as "short back and sides with a bit off the top" when I was his age. I had mine cut at the same time and so we sat next to each other watching the football replays on the TV screens. He said there's no going back now and that's the way he always wants it done.

After this it was sausage sarnies and chocolate brownies.

Back home now for a quick breather and then he's off to play at his pals. He'll be back home to watch the world cup qualifiers on the telly. As both his sisters will be on sleepovers he's asked if we can watch it in our pants with a big bowl of crisps. I don't have any objection. Mrs Smith looked vaguely appalled but was outvoted. Living the dream.
