SUGAR BUSH SPLENDOR
Fall colors are starting to show up...finally. This Sugar Maple (Acer saccharum) grows on a hill behind the local high school's parking lot. It's always the first tree to turn vibrant colors every year.
This tree and others of its kind are the ones that are tapped for sap in the early Spring which is boiled down to make maple syrup. Pancakes without syrup is like popcorn without salt.......why bother?
Enjoy.
Best in Large.
