Snow Set

Day three of the big freeze. I hate the wind. I love listening to it but walking in it just isn't fun. I did a bit of painting/DIY/self loathing then went walkies but not for as long as I normally would. The drifts have blocked the paths and the winds are sapping my enthusiasm.

The soft snow drifts of yesterday are now rock hard. We walked on the tops of them today!

Barn and I sat behind a snow drift above the cove to watch the sunset. I could have stayed there forever.

The sun has melted the fields but don't be fooled. The roads are impassable. The drifts look like icing sugar layered on a giant cake
