Mortimer or Whitehouse?

(The title is one of David's favourite comedy programmes except "or" is "and"). Dramatic dawn at Swan Lake, I saw it happening as I was driving towards Torgon and changed course! Just as well, another abortive attempt to see the Mouflon. Today I passed two hunters who told me the herd had passed an hour earlier and they had also seen 4 wolves. Are they telling porky pies?
