Here Comes The Sun

I've done this for a friend. I'd missed getting a lovely rainbow shot for her this morning then this afternoon I met her for a thanksgiving service for the life of her mum. One of the many people who lost a loved one during lockdown and couldn't have the sort of service and support they needed at the time.

I met my friend when we were both put in the same class when starting Grammer School at 11. We've managed to stay in touch the rest of our lives. Her mum made me  welcome at their house, letting me stay overniight and once taking me on thier family holiday. It was nice to be with them.

I hope the sun will shine for them tomorrow when they go to the coast where we grew up, to scatter the ashes.
