Guns of Navarron

Back blip……catching up now im home

Slept well,  but  L&I were a little worse for wear this morning, woke up with woolly heads. Just tea to get us going, sat in the conservatory in the shade lol.


M had gone out on his bike. The plan was to be ready for 10.30, M came back, we were still in our PJs chatting, it was 10.15……ooops, needless to say it was 11.30 by the time we were ready for the off. 
Good job Ms a patient chilled guy lol

We decided we needed some sustenance, so went to Oasis cafe for a tapas brunch……really lovely, with ice cold fanta lemon, we felt much better after that.  

Next M drove us across to  visit the deserted now derelict, but well maintained site of the two massive guns, used in the film, The Guns of Navarron. You can found out more about them here.

We really enjoyed our visit, fabulous views, a hot day, 30 degrees……..not complaining though :-) Todays blip had to be a collage of the various views and the guns of course. 

Once back, we chilled, I lazed in the late afternoon sun for an hour or so, then showered, we had a pre dinner drink sat in the front garden, watching the sun set, see extra, before enjoying a tasty meal, chicken chasseur, cooked by M, preceded by a very nice tuna and egg salad, washed down with a lovely bottle of rioja. 

Later we decided to watch a film, before bedtime.  An all together lovely day.
