Pretty Pulsatilla

One of my favourite flowers.......I like to think of it as the flower you should stroke.  Odd huh?  Beautiful, soft, furry flowers followed by stunning seedheads.  Sadly, my little collection of pulsatillas have suffered at the hands of weather and other competing flowers and I've lost a few, including my favourite purple one, but this soft, pastel pink and a couple of off-whites are beginning to establish themselves.  I really l should have checked out the local plant retailers to see if I can source another purple one.  Something to look into over the next couple of days maybe.  For now though, I'm just enjoying this lone specimen.
