It’s a tricky time for Auckland right now, with new Covid-19 cases continuing to plateau; up a little again today. But of even more concern was a protest rally organised by the controversial leader of a breakaway church in Auckland, which attracted a couple of thousand people together, mostly ignoring wearing masks & social gathering, in spite of the leader assuring police they’d follow the rules. It beggars belief. They will probably have ensured that Auckland’s level restrictions will continue even longer. Yes, we need to loosen restrictions and open our borders - when we’re ready, not when a dissident and discontented preacher demands his freedom. Does he really want more deaths?
