KEN'S BUSHVELD HOME

The building of this very elegant house used a lot of materials from the surroundings ...the wooden poles for construction and supporting the thatch, the reeds and grass for the roof harvested from beds along the river and stones just lying in the veld. The interior has all the modcons of a Joburg home . All 3 walls open right back to letin the sounds and smells of bushlife .
