Down town

On a rainy morning a friend and I headed down into town  to the Mall to see the the Royal Society of Marine Artists annual exhibition.  An interesting show with some beautiful work on display.  I rather liked the work of Lorraine Abraham but l am not in the market to buy.
The Mall itself was closed as preparations were underway for the London marathon on Sunday.  My fav coffee shop was closed - lack of staff so a quick coffee in Covent Garden and then home.
A tumultuous day, weatherwise, is forecast with rain and high winds.
