Cow at 1550 meters on the Rubihorn

The Rubihorn is a 1957 meter high mountain in the Allgäu Alps. On the Alps in Allgäu about 30,000 mostly free-range young cows spend the summer months. The summer at altitude combined with the fresh and often herb-rich food on a mountain pasture makes the young cattle robust and fit.
