Homecoming Parade

A beautiful night for football in Michigan. And, on homecoming night, we have to have a parade.

Grandson Merrick (upper left) walked in the parade with his junior footballers. He tossed me three pieces of candy, which I picked up and gave to the little girl who was standing by me.

We also got the band, the queen's (and king's) court, and a few badly constructed eagles.

We just got in at 11:15, turned on the news...to find out the Linden Eagles lost their game by 3 points.
