The Sniffer

...enjoying a whiff of the zinnias found in the kitchen after CC left.  We dug up some perennials and I got stung, again.  The home remedy of mothballs and cinnamon did nothing, since apparently these are not bees stinging me.  So tonight we try chemicals for yellow jackets.  There are now three underground nests.  Last night, presumably a racoon raided the big nest from the side, pulled out part of the nest, and left a "gift" behind.

We went to visit Green Lake, then Horseshoe Lake because the dam may be destroyed and vegetation may completely take over the lake again.  The Shakers built the dam in 1852.  It's up for a citizen vote in November.  While at Green Lake, we enjoyed the new boardwalks and Jimmy's Treehouse.
