Up the river

Much progress in the kitchen since I last blipped. At some point I’ll fill in the gaps… anyway, boat lifting day. Mike invited me up to go up the river with him. Just the 2 of us, I had to helm several times, including picking up a buoy…

We made it safely, it was a bit twitchy round sunny corner, my role simply to sit quietly and press the silent button on the depth alarm. We didn’t run aground (not sure how as I’m pretty certain 0.0m under the keel is not good), the lift went well and the boat is safely propped in the yard.
