Yet another training day. We refreshed our skills for obstetric emergencies in the tres posh and very expensive’SIM’ suite. Each life size model costs £30,000. You can cannulate, give IV fluids and drugs etc. They bleed, simulate shoulder dystopia and breech presentation.
Myself, Jen and Sharadhi all produced bananas at morning break time, it seemed like an appropriate blip.
