After a horribly wet and windy morning the afternoon turned out sunny and quite warm out of the wind.   I spent time this morning cooking cheese scones and cherry and almond cookies, after which we went for our walk.   I then went to Morrisons for groceries and was surprised to see that both Morrisons and the new Shell filling station are still out of diesel.   Hope it resolves itself before too long otherwise our trip to the Lakes will have to be cancelled.
I spent a couple of hours sewing in my cabin this afternoon whilst Luna lay sleeping on a rug in the sunshine coming through the open door.
