Senior Blues

I went along to the monthly meeting of the Senior Blues today. Joint manager Anthony Johnson was an excellent guest speaker. It is always refreshing to hear a football manager talking honestly rather than in cliches and Jonno is one of the best around. Football fans may remember him featuring with Bernard Morley in a Sky documentary series about Salford City which I don't think gave a good or fair impression. He was also in the news recently talking about his battle with Covid which almost killed him.

I went along because I was helping set up the model of the old Sealand Road stadium which I blipped on June 28th and is in the foreground. It went down very well with the older supporters.
