Flower the Lily

1st October and it’s ‘Lincolnshire Day’, and the Lincolnshire flag has a Fleur-de-lis in the middle, so it must be ok for Flower Friday.
 
Lincolnshire day is four weeks after the start of Merchant Navy Month.  It should have been Merchant Navy Day, but I just didn’t get around to taking the flag down until yesterday (the flag pole was doing banana impressions in the wind).
 
 
Ok, I may be stretching things a little, but perhaps not as far as my ‘Flour from Sainsburys’.
