The brass letter box on the wall.

No need for the brass letter box outside our doorstep. Just a very few letters have landed here. Some years since last time. Letters are put in  our black metal mail box on the fence out in the street. My job is to polish the brass letter box. I do it for Christmas. Today like all days this week have been dark grey rainy days. I wanted to brighten up the grey  day so I polished the letter box to shine. Think we need the letter box on the wall to shine on us when the days get too grey, letter or no letter.
