The Weetbix Kid
Weetbix with butter and honey for breakfast !
And the record is 6 (which L managed at three. And Sean down the road has done 10)
The foodphobe fusspots were in full voice today. Weetbix, plain pasta (no sauce!) or porridge constitute 80% of their diet.
Malaysia should be a great gourmet adventure!
Foods rejected in the last week (those marked with asterisk specially prepared to tempt fussy eaters):
- Thai coconut soup (yukky sauce, chicken eaten in bid to get dessert)
- Chicken schnitzel / Fish fingers * ("You don't cook it like Tradies, Mum and that mayo was awful" - as indeed 1cm thick of mayo would be on anything, especially with tomato sauce chaser)
- Nachos with home made guacamole ("I wanted to make it myself and you bought horrible corn chips and salsa)
- Honey sandwiches without butter (as requested) - "the honey soaks in"
- Delicious pork curry cooked by Dad ("we don't like pork and neither do you so why are you eating it Mum?")
- Sushi (wrong rice)
- Apple, grapes, prunes
Foods accepted in the last week (those marked with $ involved meal out)
- $ Hamburger
- Pasta with no sauce x 3 (some calimari eaten by one child)
- Sausage sandwiches x 2
- BBQ chicken
- Porridge
- French toast
- Weetbix
- Lunch container of tinned tuna, no sauce or flavouring
- Biscuits, ice cream, juice, milk
I should note that most of the rejecting took place by L. Im eats her lunch whatever, it's only dinner that brings on the tears (and requests for cereals).
