And she’s back ….

So enjoyed baking today and making this carrot cake for an afternoon tea I was hosting.

There is a pink ribbon piped in there, but you can’t really see it :( from this angle.  I got the ladies to wear pink ribbons as well, see extra. These are some of my new friends, all have welcomed me into their homes or invited us to join events. Lovely to have them and share our new home with them.

It was supposed to rain nonstop today, but the skies cleared and we enjoyed a few hours outside in the warmth and sun.  

Today also marks 6 months since we arrived in Australia. So much has happened. It’s been a long journey, but we are starting to feel settled and thankfully have a lovely place to call home.
