Sunny Southport?!

With Corinthian invited by the Wilsden a Thursday Group to join a coach trip to Southport.  Pouring with rain as we set off, but a good journey, and not too bad when we arrived.  Walked along the prom and got a bit wet, but after that it stayed dry and not bad at all as quite mild.  After not seeing the sea  - par for the course in Southport - took photos of the bay and the lakeside area.  No attractions had tourists inside. Then walked the length of Lord Street both ways (more than once) and called into a few stores. Some lovely architecture housing banks, offices, Waterstones, Wetherspoons etc (no we didn’t go in!).  Late lunch about 3pm and rejoined the others at 4:30 for the journey home. Another grand day out!
