Sydney Storm

I love a Sydney storm.
They are often very dramatic and short lived, as was the one today.
I feel very safe and cosy in the apartment, unlike Blackheath, where summer storms, particularly, can go on for hours.
The house there is also surrounded by huge, old trees and I'm always terrified one of them will be struck by lightning and fall on the house.

The main blip is looking on to the balcony.
Extra is about 10 minutes before the heavens opened.

The other drama today was the resignation of the hugely popular NSW premier, Gladys Berejiklian as a result of a corruption investigation.
There's a wonderful instagram page, gladysfanart, which greatly amuses me and you might like to check out.
