BCSplash - What a fluke.

It's Friday morning for some of us, but almost the weekend in some parts of the world including Australia where our latest #BCSplash was created!

It doesn't require much of an explanation as to why we chose this incredible image. Many of us have successfully photographed a rainbow and a few of us have captured lightening, but both at the same time.
Now that's something special!

Blipper Beckett is one of those people who achieved this, although he describes it as a fluke. 

In his own words:
"We had had a really warm 39 degrees C day and of course at this time of year that often ends in a storm. Well it did, and whilst I quickly caught the storm clouds with a rainbow in the east .... WHACK .... also caught a lightening bolt!! Getting a lotto ticket tomorrow.... he he!!"

We're not sure if Beckett went on to win the lottery that week, but drop by and check out his work. He has a fantastic journal with more than 2,500 entries. Well worth sitting down with a cup of tea and looking through his beautiful and varied photographs from Australia.

The images ideally should work in a banner format but we can crop them or add a border if necessary. If you're not sure but you love your image, tag it anyway.
