The Boy Charlton Pool

The Boy Charlton pool is a beautiful, open air, salt water pool (tough on the nose) in the city. As you can see, it faces Garden Island which is a naval shipyard on the harbour. The pool is elegantly unadorned and simple and is now very easy for me to get to with my scooter. Also, parking is free for scooters in many parts of the city, thanks to a progressive Mayor, encouraging the use of transportation other than the car.
