Down, down..

Volunteered to help at the Blues n Roots festival with my friend Michelle. It is being held over the weekend ...originally doing both days but realised that I have a market stall for tomorrow! Bummer as there were some VERY good people playing!

Anyway we had a great day, the weather was perfect, not too hot, wristbanding at the VIP lane. Slipped off for a break to see Newton Faulkner - bloody marvelous! Chris Isaak sounded pretty good as well! Finished at 5 and the day passed really quickly as there was a constant stream of punters! This piccy is of Status Quo which was a hoot and there was a bit of headbanging going on! (well not that much as the audience was of a certain age!) Finally managed to grab a beer but stupidly sat down and didnt want to get up again! Robert Plant was ....Robert Plant! Didnt stay for Iggy Pop. Train home ...very tiered
