Wood anemone
In the garden, another quick snap as no time for photos today. Another busy but fun day, with one of our regular schools.
I attended a brainstorming meeting today to look at future events for next year. It started with the new CEO explaining what the ‘external experts’ had discovered from some workshops they ran a few months ago. Apparently our castle is not a fortress, or ‘manly’ castle, but was built as a glamorous, luxury home and has continued that way through its history, ending with the last owner, a lady. I wish the experts had attended one of the workshops we run for children and we wouldn’t have had to pay them vast sums of money to discover these facts! and that folks is why it will now be re-presented as a glamorous country house in the 1920s era! And future events will all need to be branded with this theme. There was some opposition! How can we deliver a medieval joust, or motors by the moat this way? No wonder the only remaining member of the events team is leaving for pastures new.
