But the flag gives it away. This is actually Leavenworth, an interesting town on the way back home from Seattle. Hadn't been thru there for ages and found it to be a bit over the top this time. Too much oompahpah music everywhere, little choice for lunch other than bratwurst and very 'twee' as we used to say in Scotland! However we did find a good creperie and a great coffee in one of those little drive thru coffee shacks that are everywhere in Washington. Still missing the ocean :(
